Flemington Racecourse

Train

Special express trains run from Flinders Street, Spencer Street and North Melbourne stations to Flemington Racecourse station. The racecourse entrance is on the station platform. There is a racecourse ticket-box on the platform.

Flemington Racecourse station is in The Met's zone-1.

Train

Take Frankston, Pakenham or Cranbourne line trains to Caulfield station. The racecourse is opposite the station.

Moonee Valley Racecourse

Train

Take Broadmeadows line trains to Moonee Ponds station. The racecourse is just beyond Moonee Ponds junction which is a ten minute walk down Puckle Street .

Moonee Ponds station is in The Met's zone-1.

Sandown Racecourse

Train

Take Pakenham or Cranbourne line trains to Sandown Park station. The racecourse is opposite the station (greyhound track to the south; gallops track to the north). Turn left at the bottom of the railway station ramp for the gallops track.

Sandown Park station is in The Met's zone-2.

Pakenham Racecourse

Train

Take Pakenham line trains to Pakenham station. The racecourse is opposite the station (racecourse entrance is near the railway station). Walk across the middle of the racecourse towards the grandstand.

Werribee Racecourse

Train & Free Bus

Take Werribee line trains to Werribee station. Werribee Racing Club provides a free return shuttle bus service to and from the course for all mid-week meetings. You could walk from the station to the track, but it would take about twenty minutes.

Werribee station is in The Met's zone-2.

Cranbourne Racecourse

Train & Free Bus

Take Cranbourne line trains to Cranbourne station. Cranbourne Racing Club provides a free shuttle bus service from Cranbourne station to Cranbourne racecourse before and after meetings. You could walk from the station to the track, but it would take about twenty-five minutes.

Cranbourne station is in The Met's zone-3.

Mornington Racecourse

Train & Free Bus

Take Frankston line trains to Frankston station. Mornington Racing Club provides a free return shuttle bus service to and from the course (from Frankston station) for all meetings. I think it leaves Frankston station 45 minutes before the first race. It's too far to walk from Frankston to Mornington, but there are Met buses that will take you to Mornington, from where you would have to walk. The racecourse is about 25 minutes walk from where the Met bus drops you.

Yarra Glen Racecourse

Train & Bus

Take Lilydale line trains to Lilydale station, then board the 685 bus which takes you to the racecourse. The club provides a free return bus service for Yarra Glen Cup Day and Grape Grazing Day.

Lilydale station is in The Met's zone-3.

Healesville Racecourse

Train & Bus

Take Lilydale line trains to Lilydale station, then board the 685 bus which takes you to the racecourse.
